Evidentiary Support :

Evidentiary support is crucial in preventing wrongful convictions as it provides the foundation for a fair and just legal process. It helps ensure that the right person is held accountable for a crime, safeguarding innocent individuals from being wrongly imprisoned.

In Kevin's case he had a severe lack of representation. The scenario of individuals receiving life without parole due to a lack of adequate legal representation is deeply troubling and raises significant concerns about the fairness of the criminal justice system. Without competent counsel, individuals may not have the opportunity to present a strong defense, challenge evidence against them, or navigate complex legal procedures effectively.

This lack of representation can stem from various factors, including financial constraints preventing access to quality legal assistance, overwhelmed public defenders, or systemic issues within the legal system. As a result, individuals may be unfairly sentenced to life without parole, facing severe consequences without receiving a fair trial.
